Kent Cabinetry really began many years ago when I had a construction company that specialized in restoration of historic houses in  Chestertown.  I found the need to re-create 18th and 19th century moldings and cabinetry.  As there was no cabinet or millwork shop in Chestertown, it was difficult to serve my clients effectively. So I started to do the work myself, buying machinery and developing skills, required to reproduce the old style moldings and cabinetry.  
     Kent Cabinetry is a family-owned and-operated business. I am, Matthew Clark, current owner and president. My wife, Svetlana, is a Russian-born woman from Siberia. She came here in 2003 and has trained and worked as a kitchen designer since then.
