I am Matthew Clark, and I had been with Kent Cabinetry from the start since its establishment in 1997. I am the current president and the lead cabinetmaker. It had all began several decades ago, when my father and I were remodeling our home. We worked on bookcases and secret compartments for my parent's house. Soon after that I established a construction company that specialized in restoration of historic houses in Chestertown. Before too long, I have opened my own custom cabinet shop.
My hobby is sailing, and I have enjoyed it all my life. I sailed on the Chesapeake Bay a 31’ Hinckley boat for 27 years. Our family likes traveling; we enjoy camping and gardening. We used to go fishing and crabbing, but lately we have not had much free time. When we have spare time we remodel our own home, one room at the time. My wife helps me with designing, and my son is still too young to work with me :); he is 18 months old.
