Quality Workmanship Begins With Knowledgeable Craftsmen...

Cabinetmaker Matthew Clark, the current president and the lead cabinetmaker, had been with Kent Cabinetry since its establishment. He has been a woodworker since he was 13 when him and his father started remodeled their summer home. Matthew learned a lot about the cabinet construction during his teenage years. That really paid off when he was hired at his first job as a carpenter, not a helper, with a local builder.

After graduating from college he started his first business-a home building and remodeling company. Few years later, in 1982, he opened a woodworking shop to meet the demands for custom cabinets. Building
cabinets became his full time occupation by 1986.

Matthew enjoys camping and sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.

Our Quality:
  • Cabinets made by us will last for generations; in their construction we use only premium materials. High-end lacquers and stains that we use are safe for indoors; when applied to custom cabinets - they provide a beautiful, durable finish in any color and sheen.
  • Cabinets constructed from 3/4"thick cabinet grade plywood for sides and 1/2" for backs along with full size stretchers gives an entire system complete sturdiness.
We can replicate any moldings profile that you desire, and we can match stain of the new custom cabinets to the existing ones.
Our work has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens magazine.

We hope that we can help make your project unique and beautiful, drop us an email or call, and let’s get started.
